Specialist nutrition assessment and advice:

  • Single/multiple micronutrient deficiency (e.g. iron/calcium)

Other services:

Adult medical nutrition e.g. diabetes, high cholesterol, irritable bowel syndrome, motivation for maintaining changes.

Consultation fees:

  • Initial appointments: 60mins = $170
  • Review appointments: 30mins = $85 : 45mins = $130
  • Email or phone reviews: 15mins = $30 (includes repeat prescriptions)

Use your Health Insurance!

Check your policy to see if it includes seeing a NZ Registered Dietitian. You will need to pay for your consultation yourself, but we will give you a receipt to claim back part or all of the cost (depending on your level of cover) from your health insurance company.

Dietitians are nutritional biochemists who have a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition and Science, and are registered under the Health Professionals Competency Act. They have specialised medical nutrition training and practice holistically to ensure long term changes for the best possible health.

We are passionate about helping people learn how to eat well for better health, whether you want to lose weight, manage nagging health issues, through to medical nutrition for complex health issues. An expert in infant, child and adult nutrition, Anna is passionate about helping people understand that healthy eating and better health can be easy. She has a holistic approach which is complemented by scientific research, but approaches nutrition on an individual level, taking into account not just a person’s health and wellness concerns, but also their budget, lifestyle and time constraints.

With over 20 years’ experience Anna is a highly sought after dietitian. You may recognise her from the TVNZ children’s show 'Activate' and other media roles including 'What’s Really In Our Food' series 1, 3 and 4, as well as an expert commentator for Radio New Zealand and Newshub reports.

She is particularly interested in digestive issues, allergies and food intolerances, along with helping people make real changes towards long term positive relationships with food.

General family and adult/older adult health, and the management of chronic conditions through nutritional therapy and positive lifestyle changes is another of her strengths.

As a mother of two, (both allergy children) Anna understands the need for practical advice that fits in with the rest of the family. Anna’s friendly, helpful manner and personalised approach ensures you will gain the knowledge and skills required to confidently be where you want to be with having a positive relationship with food. Ashleigh Share is a registered clinical Dietitian with ten years experience in medical nutrition. She is passionate about helping people connect to better eating and better health. Ashleigh has experience in a range of areas including weight management, malnutrition, renal and bariatric nutrition, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer and eating disorders.

Availability: Tuesday and Thursday Evenings- 6-8pm.
